Yes
I really enjoyed the service. I looked at the service leaflet a few days ago, but did not print it out. As a result I knew the tunes, and was rooting about in 1982 unsuccessfully finding the words. They really pulled out the stops on all the barn burners. If you are going to do all those barn burners in a single event, it's best to have the finest arrangements and the best choirs and instrumentalists. As a result the combination of repertoire was perfect
Bishop Budde really had a good time! I think Katherine enjoyed herself too. I am sure she is relieved. I wonder what is next for her. I hear about Bishop Griswold occasionally; I worked with a friend of a friend of his; so I am always interested. The pastor of our church when I was a toddler was Fr. Curry; but the nationality, race, and denomination were different (g). He musn't have lived that long; because one of my first memories is attending his predecessor's wake (I was 4) and I think Fr Curry died around 1953.
