We have a lay person at St. Andrew's who prepares the Prayers of the
People. I take the title as instruction, and DO NOT MESS WITH IT. No
gross doctrinal errors so far. ;^)
Sounds like the priest could relax a bit. Have you had a talk with him
about this?

who knows of a priest nearby who is trying to make a fairly Protestant
parish over in his own A-C image, and encountering problems of a
similar nature.
