Ummm.
 
I think it might be more accurate to say that our litigation happy
society has cost Americans billions and trillions in un-needed  health
care costs.  In the end this is all financed by the public since  the
resultant high malpractice fees are simply passed along.
 
Nothing like this USA situation exists elsewhere, I am led to  believe,
and it certainly isn't that USA healthcare professionals are  substandard
in comparison with other countries.
