For my first marriage, there was the Solemn High Nuptial Mass in the
church (simply stupefied my Methodist and Lutheran families) and  then
everyone moved to the parish wing a few steps away for the reception
with champagne.  It worked well.
 
My second (and present) marriage took place in my home where
two Episcopal priest friends, themselves a married couple, did the
clergy duties.  It was about as far from a Solemn High Nuptial  Mass
