Our landlady doesn't really want us to keep animals. We're getting to the
point that even though we love them, we travel so much that it is a bit of
a worry. Our daughter, knowing how much we like cats - gave us a battery

And as an aside - we've been in this house 12 years now. Our landlady is
building a new house so she can be closer in to town with her mother
getting older. She offered to sell us the house. We weren't really in the
market to do that but we like the place so we're in process of doing that.
