Snow that late is essentially unheard of in the Upper Midwest.  April,  
certainly,
and the occasional May storm, often timed with the opening of fishing
season do occur.  But June?
 
OTOH, cold temperatures can strike Minnesota and Wisconsin any month.
During the twenty years I lived in Eau Claire, we had frost in June  and
July (over the 4th of July!) as well as in August, essentially ruining  the
corn crop.  I had to replant tender annuals several times due to  these
untimely frosts.
