Glad to hear you are OK, Lynn. Sorry to hear that rain has been so
devastating over your city, though.
Reminds me of the Grantham floods we had here five years ago,
immediately before my visit to New York and Indiana (hi, Fr Tony!)
It does appear that weather patterns are changing in many places. I'm
interested to hear about the Govt-backed insurance, though. That's
something that has not been introduced here, although there has been
Govt financial support for flood-affected rebuilds that show they are
being effected to counter new levels of flooding ( e.g., raising the
building on stilts, something that used to be much more common.)
