Eucalyptus trees and eucalyptus bushes are complete different species. The trees are very tall and evergreen and have these wonderful seed pods that look like buttons. They smell wonderful, and their oil is used in some [mentholyptus] cough drops.

Not a tree, but a bush. Because Jo remembers picking the same kind
twigs from a growing bush, for playing, when she was a kid. Of course,
Louisiana is pretty warm, and the bush might have grown into a tree
later when she wasn't noticing.
