My friend Sue stopped by for tea and a knitting lesson today.  It's been a beautiful High Winter day: fresh fluffy snow, sun, and that deep blue sky that means cold weather -- but in fact it was only about 25F or -5C.  As she was getting ready to go, she put on boots, toque, hoodie, and parka.  I observed with a chuckle as she stepped out the door that she hadn't zipped the parka or hoodie. "Why would I? It's not windy."

Come to think of it, nobody else had zipped up for going out.

Neither did I.  Why would I? It's not windy.

Oh Canada....
