Pondering the two presumptives (provided DT survives his convention) in context of their unfavorables, I've been realising that a potential maximum of 8 years for Hillary is, in the overall scheme of things, a small price to pay to do actually two things:

1)  defeat DT, and
2)  finally be done with Bill's and Hill's combined potential for elective office (meaning, Hill's "time served" will match Bill's, thereby ending their combined elective story).  Clintonia will continue, as will Obamania, but there's some solace in knowing that in as far out as 2024, finally, someone else will have a chance to shine (or at least glimmer), without any sense (and I believe there was a lot of it out there, Dem'ly speaking, this time around or more than O'Malley, Webb, and Lincoln Cartooncharacter would have tried) of "Well, it's Hillary's turn, again, so let's just let her have her chance, as it would no doubt be her last", etc.
