[Magdalen] The Episcopal Church Schism in South Carolina

I just read a bit (the good bishop's retirement [again]) about the
pointless and mean-spirited devastation that happened in that area. The
diocese gutted and eviscerated. Supposedly good Christian folks who showed
that they simply didn't know the meaning of the word.
Of course, of the socialites who were the big cheeses in the diocese, many
probably knew it was wrong, but they went along to get along, as the old
southern saying puts it.
What a crying shame.
And yet, the good folks have soldiered on, and can take pride in doing the
right thing, not the popular thing.
Oh, and happy birthday.
