On the subject of posture during liturgies, I miss the olden days  when
there was complete prostration of the three sacred ministers during  the
final Kyries of the Easter Vigil.
 
I believe the old Anglican Missal has the ministers remove their  Lenten
Violet vestments, and remain prostrate in their albs until the Kyries
are done.  Then they "remove themselves" to be vested in Easter
White/Gold, altar candles are lit, and "all the bells are set  ringing."
 
It was a real Broadway production, and I loved every minute of it.
 
I also miss the Octave of Pentecost, which got jettisoned at  Vatican-2
with the emphasis on the Great 50 Days.  There was opportunity  to
repeat the Pentecost chants for a whole week.
