Chicken brining here, apple chunks soaking, getting ready for a trip to the
electric smoker where they will repose for a couple of hours before
finishing in the oven Cornbread stuffing, baked sweet potatoes, and gravy
will finish our simple meal. I may or may not get a pear kuchen made,
depending on how the other work goes; I'm working on a commission piece
that absolutely, positively has to be finished by Sunday.
