[Magdalen] lost fabric prayer....

When I was sure there was no point in searching in a particular place for something, because I knew it couldn't possibly be there, my mother used to say, "if you don't know where it is, you don't know where it ISN'T!"

I sometimes remind myself of that when I've misplaced something...
