OTOH, when you mentioned Eau Claire, I thought it was probably the other
way around.

There are no Anglican split-offs of any kind in the area of the Diocese of
Eau Claire, to my knowledge. In matters such as OW, they have pretty much
gone mainstream TEC. They remain high church in their theology, and the
two bishops who fought for conservatism are either dead (+Atlkins) or
out of TEC (+Wantland - who is active in ACNA and serves as an
assistant to the breakaway ACNA Diocese of Fort Worth, TX).

Interestingly, +Wantland,, who is scholarly, eventually came to the
conclusion
that the Church Catholic had historically ordained female deacons, and
therefore he came to accept that much. I think that Rome has had some
discussions about this, and there is quite a bit on line on the subject.

I once was present for a short sermon delivered to a diverse crowd by
+Wantland in English, fluent Spanish and Chippewa Indian. +Wantland is
a Native American.

And personally, +Wantland was on the intervention panel that saved me
from the bottle.
