Thanks to Roger for explaining this more clearly... Now I have a better understanding of it... The hymns were for the most part familiar (I don't choose any of the music)... and this has been problem because I was not familiar withCBW 3 when I began and the Mass setting was not familiar either. We always used the Mass of Creation (Haugen)back in the day but that has changed.Whenever I find a weird tune or the rhymic measures are odd I look to see if Haugen wrote it. It is amazing howmany of his hymns have been put into CBW 3...and I can't say I like them much!!

Since Christ has left us this way of uniting with him in a special and

Christ's time in the Garden of Gethsemane, leading up to his 
crucifixion. By moving it nine weeks later it can become a free-standing 
Feast. It is no longer in the Easter season or in the days following 
Pentecost, which themselves have been observed as a mini-season of not 
quite an octave since there are only seven days, the eighth being 
Trinity Sunday.
