[Magdalen] A bit of SC Episcopal Church History

Ann,
For us, I believe Good Shepherd parishioners individually and as a group
were given the grace to forgive those who had taken 'our' church away from
us. We learned that the church is not 'ours', rather the church is God's,
and we set out with God's help to be a new part of the Body of Christ. That
has not been easy but it has been amazing. In the earliest days of our
reformation and Good Shepherd's formation, I realized that I'd spent most
of my adult life learning about the Body of Christ and the Church....as a
result of the schism, we were 'being' living members of the Body of
Christ. And, it was and it is a good thing.

If you don't follow Good Shepherd on Facebook, please take the time to
visit our website.
