[Magdalen] Lent Madness?

I took a look at about six or so sites and noticed that there are several
brasses in Albans. My guess (information on these is not anywhere
particularly clear for some reason) is that the brasses are covering for
some abbot or other. Certainly quite nice artistry. Often a bit ragged
around the edges, which will happen after a few centuries of wear and tear
-- and Hank number eight's helpful efforts.
