That would be what in England is Lammas Day (1st August) according to 
the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. Lammas (Loaf Mass) in the early English 
church  was the day when traditionally bread made from the first ripe 
corn of harvest was used for communion bread - possibly accompanied by 
the presentation of a sheaf of corn. The  word "Lammas" first appears in 
the writings of King Alfred.
