[Magdalen] Fourth of July?

It was somewhere in the 20s yesterday here in the Shenandoah. I had to go
out for a visit to my surgeon (about which more later) so decided to do
some necessary shopping. We had about a half inch of snow but the roads
were clear by the time I had to leave. When I started out our road was
white and I thought, "What the....?" but then realized it was SALT.
Fortunately it was dry by then, but I will have to wash my car soon. As to
heat, thank goodness for out gravity-fed pellet stove.
