Colonoscopy prep?  Easy, depending.  I was simply awakened at 4:00 am by My System, and didn't go to sleep again (wink wink).  Don't be surprised if you continue said "prep" once you arrive at the doc's office.  By then you'll be a pretty clean fellow anyway, so don't sweat it if it so comes about.

As for when it's happening, everyone has a different experience.  Even though I was supposedly pumped with opioidal pain killers, I never felt like I was, AND experienced no pain.  Or "not being there-edness".  In fact, I had a great conversation with the doc during.  When he saw some blood vessel inflammation and wondered about it, I said "Well, I do have vasculitis elsewhere.  Maybe there too?"  He couldn't but agree.

Afterward, you will have GAS.  Or, more specifically, the AIR pumped into you prior to camera snooping.  So, don't be afraid to, well, ... you know.

You'll be fine.

As for the endoscopy, never had one of those.  You'll have to educate in reverse!
