Yes. His consecration in Atlanta was stopped eight days before it was to
occur. Consents were withdrawn due to his lack of disclosure of some things
he should have reported that wouldn't show up on a background check. But he
was still a priest in good standing and hadn't been accused of any
violations of church law, and the bishop of Virginia made a point of saying
he'd make a fine interim.
