For average eats, the green (read: jalapeno) is my favorite for sure.

Tabasco has a whole line of different flavors, though, and the one I really want to try but have never found locally, or at least not in a gift/sampler box, is the Asian "sweet and spicy" variety. I know, I know: Amazon.

As for the original, as long as one can remember (unless you're a masochist) that it's intended mainly for flavor and NOT heat, just a few (three give or take) drops on just about anything does the trick.

The green ("mild") variety can of course be used more liberally with limited to no repurcussions.
