Is this an Episcopal Church? Do they use the Book of Common Prayer?

The job description reminds me of some of the emergent churches of our
age. One of my favorite priests preaches from the floor, rather than the
pulpit. He is a wonderful preacher. But, I wouldn't seek someone who
preaches out of the pulpit.

I have tightened up my preferences for liturgy since our current
Priest-in-Charge came to Good Shepherd from the High Church in the Low
Country. He has adjusted from the Rite I with bells and whistles he was
accustomed to offering, and our congregation quickly learned to appreciate
again the formality of a Rite II reverently done. Great compromise -
wonderful worship.

I wouldn't attend the church revealed in the job description. What do you
think, Grace?
