I renewed mine last summer.  Would have done it by mail, but I wanted the
Real ID for border crossings (HA -- never used it), and I had to take in
documentation.  Needed to change the address, too.  Took the vision test
and don't need corrective lenses to drive anymore (but I always wear them
anyway).  I've needed them since my first driver's license!  No surgery --
but they told me that nearsightedness gets better with age, just as
farsightedness gets worse.  So I need glasses to read now, and the
correction on top does sharpen my vision.
