 I can easily detect an Upper Midwestern USA accent when I hear it.  Western Wisconsin, the Dakotasand Minnesota share the accent parodied in the Movie, "Fargo."  Southeast Wisconsin (Milwaukee,Racine, and Kenosha) have their own variant.

I do not have the local  PA "coal-cracker" accent, and the locals pick up on that, but they cannot identifywhat region I represent.
