[Magdalen] Erdbeernkuchen mit Schlagsahne

Did Germany use biscuit shortcake, or little cakes?  My mother always used
biscuits (made with a little sugar, but not much), and I just don't care
for the kind that uses cake -- especially those little synthetic sponges
that are found in the grocery store!  Hope I'm not opening up a controversy
akin to the long-past BBQ debates!
